Parks & Gardens Live, was a free to attend event which provided professional gardeners, parks professionals and landscape maintenance teams an exciting mix of practical learning, mentoring, inspiration, knowledge sharing and networking - all curated by the UK's leading kit expert and HW technical editor, Sally Drury.

Drawing from a lifetime of experience and knowledge, master gardener and HW columnist Alan Sargent reveals his top tips on what head gardeners (and all aspiring head gardeners!) need to do to become the very best that they can be.  

11.05 Demonstration by Eco Green Composting (King Feeders)
Eco Green Composting (King Feeders) will be demonstrating one of their smaller range composting machines, which will be processing grass mowings, roots and general green waste with a timber diameter of up to 6 – 8 inches.

Join Neil as he leads this workshop to help professionals tasked with ensuring staff and volunteer compliance with health & safety requirements.

At a time when garden attractions and parks are increasingly looking to raise their profile (and income) through events, master gardener Alan Sargent shares his top tips on the preparations gardening teams need to make to ensure success. 

14.05 Demonstration by T H White Machinery Imports

15.00 Custodian Awards starts
The Custodian Awards will take place in the Woburn Sculpture Gallery after the close of Parks & Gardens Live. Please note there is an admission cost to the Custodian Awards. Click here to find out more.

Running throughout the day we will also have members of the Professional Gardens Consultants Association who will be running a free drop-in Expert Advice Hub; exhibitor kit demonstrations tailored for the parks and gardens market as well as our exhibitors themselves.
