Since its formation just over 40 years ago the Professional Gardeners Guild has been the centre pin for professional gardeners employed in the private and estate sector. Our aims are to promote and encourage professional contact, share information and skills.
We do this through social gatherings and activities, training and 3 main publications, our website, newsletter and journal. Our successful traineeship provides successful applicants with solid ‘hands on’ practical experience in some of the country’s most notable gardens. Study tours are arranged so members can broaden their knowledge by travel both home and abroad. The Guild provides a free to members legal advice hotline and employment service along with a seed exchange and plant swap at many of its meetings. New members are always welcome.
